The Japanese cellular phone companies have been put 3.5 G of HSDPA or EVDO into practice in 2007. Furthermore, 144Mbps of Super 3G will be introduced after 2010, and 1Gbps of 4G after 2012.

Transmission speed of Super 3G will become 144Mbps which is about ten times faster than that of 3.5G, 4G will become 1Gbps, about 70times faster.

In other words, about 10 times more contents can be transmitted by Super 3G compared with the contents currently transmitted, and 70 times more contents by 4G.

The mobile phone companies should study how to maximize their profit by taking this merit. If fixed fee users use up this merit by sending and receiving moving pictures such as YOU TUBE, the Japanese mobile phone companies can not enjoy good profit by Super 3G or 4G.

We already learned mobile phone users welcome broadcasting for mobile phones by One Segment broadcasting. On the other hand, multi channel broadcasting already started in the United States; the Japanese mobile phone companies should study the same in Japan. News, variety, sports, music, movie, animation could be ideal programs for multi channel broadcasting as Nikkei reported on July 16, 2007.

Many contents producers, holders, aggregators will become MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) and send these programs.

Mobile phone users, mobile phone companies, contents producers etc. will welcome the above idea.
